AUTOMATED BATCHING
State of the art automated batching systems allows us real time monitoring and calculations from every single load batched. This allows for us to keep batching tolerances under 1% on an entire 35,000lb load. This is a key part of our operation and ensures that we can provide our customers with consistent and quality mix everytime.
REAL TIME GPS
Every truck we have on the road is equipped with real time GPS and engine diagnostics data allowing us to be efficient, precise, and sure that your loads arrive safely on time.
TRACKING
With the help of integrated tracking tablets and systems we see real time when our trucks leave the plant, arrive to a job, begin pouring, and even when they're washing out.
The 130,000-square-foot facility will feature an eight-lane, competition pool with spectator seating, a community fitness center, and an outdoor pool area complete with a lazy river, tot pool, and water slides.
Westrock Coffee held the grand opening last week for its new 570,000-square-foot, $315 million manufacturing facility in Conway.
The plant’s 45-acre campus at 480 Exchange Ave. is the largest “roast to ready-to-drink” manufacturing facility in North America.
Ready-mixed concrete is made by precisely weighing and batching cement, water, aggregates (rock/sand), and admixtures from a plant into the the mixer truck. It is then mixed, visually inspected, and water is then added if needed to reach the certain specifications of the job. During transportation, the concrete is continuously mixed in the drum to ensure the materials are consistently mixed allowing for the concrete to begin it's exothermic reaction, called "The Heat of Hydration".
The curing time of concrete is typically 24-48 hours, at which point it's safe for normal foot traffic. After one week, concrete is typically cured enough to handle continued construction, including heavy machinery. Concrete is recognized to have reached full strength 28 days after placement.
Concrete admixtures are natural or manufactured chemicals or additives added during concrete mixing to enhance specific properties of the fresh or hardened concrete, such as workability, durability, early and final strength, speed up or slow down set time, and many others.
